Interpreters deal with so many demands while on the job. The intrapersonal demands - what goes on in our heads - can impact our work just as much as the environment, parties involved, and the language itself. This can be especially challenging to navigate as a new interpreter. In this virtual workshop we will use Demand-Control Schema and other tools to tackle negative thinking, stop playing the comparison game, and work toward being the best version of ourselves for our consumers and our colleagues.
