Conference Information
North Carolina Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (NCRID) is thrilled to host the 2024 RID Region II Conference! We have been working diligently with the other state Affiliate Chapters in our Region to plan a fantastic slate of qualified presenters and beneficial workshops!
The 2024 Region II Conference theme is ‘Belong’ - we want all interpreters in our Region to feel that they belong to a strong, supportive professional network!
The 2024 RID Region II conference will be virtual. We will host workshop sessions on Friday, June 21. On Saturday, June 22, we’ll open with a Keynote presentation, states will host their individual general business meetings, and we’ll come back together to close with a State of Region II presentation and discussion. The first 300* registrants will also receive mailed goody bags, to help further the feeling of belonging with your fellow conference attendees!
Please note - some Region II states will host in-person gatherings on Saturday, June 22, to participate in the sessions and their business meeting. Additionally, some states will not host a general business meeting on Saturday. Please check with your state Affiliate Chapter for information about this.
*Must be registered no later than 6/9/2024 to receive a mailed goody bag
