Presenter: Dr. Justin DeMartin

Bio: Dr. DeMartin is a graduate of Buffalo State College, and has received two Masters of Science in Education from Niagara University. Dr. DeMartin received his doctorate in educational leadership and management from Capella University with an action research professional curriculum project focused on the improvement of professional development practices for alternative education faculty and staff. Dr. DeMartin is also a licensed trainer through the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP). As a licensed trainer, he has been able to implement a variety of trainings on building community and relationships with not only members of the K-12 educational world, but with local communities as well. Dr. DeMartin has previous experiences managing interpreting services in the K-12 setting along with providing professional development opportunities for them. Dr. DeMartin currently serves as the Senior Manger, Customer Success East for Renaissance Learning. In addition to Dr. DeMartin’s work he enjoys spending time with his husband Danny who is an interpreter and interpreter educator and their twins Parker and Emma. He also loves traveling with his family and spending as much time as possible outdoors in the beautiful upstate New York winters and gorgeous summers.
