Plan to join us for this in-person conference, with dynamic, enlightening sessions led by excellent presenters, all designed to help us improve our skills and be ready for new and changing demands in the field of interpreting—and to do so together as a professional community!
Conference will be June 25–27, 2026, in Durham, NC. Conference will be at the Hilton Durham near Duke University. The Conference Planning Committee is thrilled to have secured a very competitive nightly rate at this hotel, and we can’t wait to be together with you. Look for the link to our hotel block soon!
We aim to offer almost 2.0 CEUs in total. All meals are included, as is fabulous entertainment, in addition to the high-quality, engaging sessions, conference this year is an incredible value and an opportunity you do not want to miss.
Registration is open now for folks who were members on or before 9/30/25, as a thank-you for their ongoing support of NCRID.

ITP Student Combo Registration

We know how crucial it is for ITP students to make professional connections to support them post-graduation. We believe strongly in encouraging and supporting student and novice interpreters, and know how priceless an opportunity a professional, high-quality conference is. We are pleased to be able to offer Student registration at-cost to make conference as accessible as possible.
Daily Registration
Will be available April 15–June 9.
Daily rates are offered for Friday and Saturday to offer attendees the most flexibility. Each registration option includes access to all workshop sessions, meals, entertainment, accessibility services for all, and all other conference functions occurring on that day only.
Friday: $225 - Members | $275 - Non-Members
Friday is the most-packed day at conference, yielding up to 0.9 CEUs, with three delicious meals provided, and the iconic entertainment Friday evening. Don’t miss it!
Saturday: $125 - Members | $175 - Non-Members
Saturday is a great value for busy professionals who can’t make a weekday work. Offering 0.6 CEUs and two meals, this is a great value to access high quality professional development.

Policies
Students: For the purposes of Conference registration, the student rate is applicable to all full-time ITP/IPP students. Students must send a copy of their current class schedule (screenshot of student portal is acceptable) and student ID to ncridtreasurer@gmail.com in order to receive the discounted registration.
Membership: To be eligible for the member rate for conference one must have an active membership during the 2025–2026 membership year.
Early Access is available to those who held 2025–2026 membership on or before September 30, 2025. An email will be sent to those eligible for this member-exclusive access so secure your seat today! *Some sessions have limited seating per the presenter. Membership contact: ncridmembership@gmail.com
For both of these considerations, we offer reciprocity to members of other state Affiliate Chapters of RID; contact ncridmembership@gmail.com to submit proof of membership (with date of purchase if for Early Access). Thanks for being involved with NCRID!
Communication Access Requests: The 2026 Conference Communication Policy is as follows: Workshops will be presented in the mode most natural to the presenter or which best fits the content. All workshops will be accessible in ASL; interpreters will be provided in workshops presented in spoken English. Some sessions presented in ASL will have spoken English interpretation (see Conference Agenda document for specifics). Any additional communication needs are to be emailed to ncridconferencechair@gmail.com before May 25, 2026.
Refund/Cancellation Policy: All refund requests must be made in writing, postmarked or emailed by June 11, 2026 to Trula Baker, ncridtreasurer@gmail.com. No refunds will be issued until 30 days after the completion of conference. In the event conference is cancelled, all registrants will be notified and provided a 100% refund.
