Students: Full-time ITP/IPP students must send a copy of a current student ID in order to receive the discounted registration.
Membership: Current membership year runs July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019 for conference member rates.
Communication Access Request: The 2019 Conference Communication Policy is as follows: Workshops will be presented in the mode most natural to the presenter. Interpreters are placed in workshops to provide signed and spoken communication on stage between audience and presenter. Assistive Listening Devices are available in ALL sessions thanks to the Division of Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Any additional communication needs are to be emailed at ncridconferencechair@gmail.com before May 1, 2019.
Refund / Cancellation Policy: All refund requests must be made in writing, postmarked or emailed by June 1, 2019 to Trula Baker, ncridtreasurer@gmail.com. No refunds will be issued until 30 days after the completion of conference. In the event conference is canceled, all registrants will be notified and provided a 100% refund.

"Your Support is Needed!
Every year at annual conference NCRID gives recognition to individuals who have served to promote, encourage, and support interpreters as professionals. As in years past, we will be honoring all of the recipients publicly during the Friday luncheon at conference.
We are soliciting nominations from each NCRID chapter and individual NCRID members. Nominations may be submitted here online (preferred) or by email to ncridawards@gmail.com.
Rules:
1. Each nomination should outline why the individual should be considered for the award and should be signed by at least two NCRID members. If submitting electronically the "two signatures" can be emails from individuals supporting your nomination to ncridawards@gmail.com. Submissions do not need to be lengthy.
2. The awards are given based on activities from July 2018 to June 2019.
3. The decision of the Nomination/Awards committee is final.
4. Neither the President nor any executive officer can receive any of the awards listed until one full year AFTER his/her term. (The executive officers are: President, Vice-President, Secretary, & Treasurer)
