This is registration for one person for the workshop “Get Educated on the EIPA” on 8/9/25. All times are in EST.

This workshop benefits the Antwan Campbell Educational Interpreter Fund, which supports educational interpreters (currently primarily through stipends for EIPA testing). After paying workshop expenses, the profit from this workshop will be split evenly with 50% going to general NCRID operating funds and 50% going to the Antwan Campbell Educational Interpreter Fund (click to learn more).

This workshop will focus on the EIPA Performance Exam. The process for the test will be discussed, as well as registration, website navigation, what to expect on testing day, and components of the test.
Educational Objectives
At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Utilize various test-taking strategies
Understand the new Boys Town website and the registration process
Discuss various components of the EIPA Performance exam
Presenter: Jodi Upton
Jodi works full-time as the manager for the Educational Interpreter Development Program for the state of Tennessee. She previously spent 14 years working as an Educational Interpreter, as well as doing part-time freelance, VRS, theater, and cruise interpreting. Jodi holds a BEI Advanced, the Ed:K-12, and Core-CHI medical certification. She received her master's in teaching Interpreting from Western Oregon University. She has proctored the EIPA, both written and performance portions, for the past 12 years, and has been given an Award of Excellence from Boys Town for being a top proctor in the country.
