This interactive workshop explores the vital role of American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters or Certified Deaf Interpreters (CDI) in advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community, the challenges they face in accessing services, and best practices for ensuring equitable communication.

Through engaging discussions, real-world case studies, attendees will learn how to integrate ASL interpretation into their organizations and daily interactions. The session will also cover legal obligations, cultural considerations, and strategies for fostering a truly inclusive environment.
