The new CASLI Knowledge Exam has two parts. One of those parts consists of case studies. In this workshop, participants will be given hypothetical interpreting scenarios and be asked to discuss a given set of responses or actions. The scenarios in each case study will be presented as an evolving situation. Drawing on their experience, participants will determine appropriate courses of action at each step in the process. These discussions are designed to assist participants in preparing for the Ethics & Cultural Responsiveness portion of the CASLI Generalist Knowledge Exam. To further help you prepare for the exam, which will be partially presented in American Sign Language (ASL), this workshop will be conducted in ASL each time it is offered. No voice interpretation will be provided.
If you would like to attend, please see the attached flyer for more information and the registration info. The Zoom link and handouts will be emailed shortly before each workshop session.
This workshop will be conducted in ASL. Participation is limited to 15 registrants to ensure that all can see each other and engage in discussion through Zoom. If you attempt to register and the workshop is full, email Pam King to be added to the list to be notified of future CASLI workshops - Pam.King@dhhs.nc.gov
