Are you interested in becoming a Deaf interpreter? Join us as we discuss

the role and function of Deaf interpreters. We will discuss the interpreting

process and the tasks you need to know for each stage in the process,

including preparation for service delivery, provision of service and post-

service closure. We will explore the provision of interpreting services to a

variety of consumers with a variety of communication modes. Through

lecture, small group discussions and some role playing, you will have a

greater understanding of what it takes to be a qualified Deaf Interpreter.
