Bio: Hayden Orr is currently attending RIT as a sophomore with a major in Cybersecurity and a minor in Software Engineering. Through DeafHub and Center on Culture & Language, he has worked on countless research projects under the supervision of Dr. Joseph Hill and Dr. Jordan Wright. He has years of experience working as a translator for theater productions which fueled his interest in research into sign languages. His main area of focus is developing a database for recording signed language variation and healthcare accessibility for Deaf patients. He plans to continue working in the research field after completing undergraduate and graduate programs.
