Changes to the ADA

Announcement from NAD

Your help is needed! You need to call your Representative now! The House of Representatives is expected to vote on ADA Education and Reform Act of 2017 (H.R. 620); this bill would seriously weaken the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by telling businesses they do not have to follow the ADA until someone notifies them they are in violation. Any attack on the ADA is a threat to our civil rights, please call your legislators to vote NO on H.R. 620.

In April 2017, Howard released an AHA sharing how this bill attacks our rights. Recently, we were alerted that Congress is expected to vote on HR 620 next week.
YOU CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS: the letter template is available to download and you can find your Representative here. We cannot allow Congress to attack this bill – tell your Representative to vote NO on HR 620. #StopHR620 #HandsOffMyADA #protectADA
