The Special Service Department at the Fort Mill School District, South Carolina, is hosting a three-hour workshop for Educational Interpreters and Cued Speech Transliterators for the Deaf. The workshop is entitled “"Educational Interpreters and Transliterators for the Deaf: Winsome Members of the IEP Team.”
This workshop will assist educational interpreters and transliterators in understanding their place on the IEP team according to IDEA, and will explore how they can contribute to the IEP team in a winsome and professional manner for the good of the students they serve.
The Workshop will be held from 9am – noon on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at the Media Center of Pleasant Knoll Elementary School, 2346 Pleasant Road, Fort Mill, SC 29708. The workshop is FREE and will provide 0.3 CEUs (3 Hours) through RID for those seeking credit for the workshop.
