NCRID offers four types of membership: Voting, Non-Voting, Student, and Organizational. See descriptions of each below.

Beginning with the 2023-2024 membership year, NCRID will make public its membership list. See this post for more information.

 

2023-2024 Membership

Organizational (Non-Voting) - $50

  1. Organizations and agencies that support RID's and NCRID's purposes and activities

  2. Those members who pay the current dues for organizational membership, and

  3. Those having an active interest in supporting the purposes and activities of NCRID

Benefits Include:

  • One organizational member to receive a member rate during statewide conferences (name of individual must be given in advance of the conference)

  • Organizational Membership Benefits include NCRID processing up to 1.0 CEUs (i.e., 10 contact hours) at no cost during a membership year. The cost of NCRID processing CEUs beyond 1.0 CEUs will be $20 per contact hour.

    • Organizational members that are State agencies are exempt from all CEU processing fees.

  • No discounts offered for local training

 

Voting - $40

  1. Members in good standing with BOTH NCRID and RID required, and

  2. Those members who pay the current dues for voting membership, and

  3. Those having an active interest in supporting the purposes and activities of NCRID

  4. Documentation of RID membership is required to accompany the membership application.

Benefits Include:

  • Discounted rates for local and statewide workshops/events

  • Early access to NCRID Conference registration (with membership by 9/1 of current membership year)

  • Eligibility to vote on current issues relating to NCRID business

  • Eligibility for stipends to defray cost of training or testing fees

  • Eligibility for scholarships/mentorships

 

Non-Voting - $35

  1. Members in good standing with NCRID required, and

  2. Those members who pay the current dues for non-voting membership, and

  3. Those having an active interest in supporting the purposes and activities of NCRID

Benefits Include:

  • Discounted rates for local and statewide workshops/events

  • Early access to NCRID Conference registration (with membership by 9/1 of current membership year)

  • Eligibility for stipends to defray cost of training or testing fees

  • Eligibility for scholarships/mentoring

 

Student (Non-Voting) - $20

  1. Members in good standing with NCRID required, and

  2. Those members who pay the current student dues for non-voting membership, and

  3. Those having an active interest in supporting the purposes and activities of NCRID, and

  4. Students who are currently enrolled, at least part-time in an ITP/IPP (must provide copy of current class schedule)

Benefits Include:

  • Free or discounted rates for local and statewide workshops/events

  • Early access to NCRID Conference registration (with membership by 9/1 of current membership year)
