Genderally Speaking in ASL

Ever wonder if there are any differences in utterances or sign choice between genders speaking American Sign Language (ASL)? In this exploratory workshop, participants will recognize, compare signs used by both genders and dissect patterns detected while speaking ASL. The goals to attain in this workshop are to revisit the lexicon and choose signs to convey meanings effectively, and to detect connotations, be they social and effective, behind the choices of signs and parameters.
