Participants will actively engage in self – care. Too often we know what is needed for us to take care of ourselves but rarely take the time to DO IT. This workshop is designed to be an active flow of different activities aimed towards self-care. If a participant needs to ice an injury, ice will be provided. There will be stretching, breathing exercises meditation, journaling, music, self-massage and a 30 minute guided sound session (musical massage/sound bath) by Martha Honeycutt. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. They are encouraged to bring a coffee mug, blanket, headphones, journal, book, pillow and anything else they feel would benefit their self-care. Come ready to put yourself first for a change.
