Authorities in North Carolina are seeing a clear connection to gangs, the opioid crisis and human trafficking in our state. In fact, these illegal industries often feed off one another, claiming lives every year. In this workshop, professional interpreters and workers in the field of deafness will be provided a practical training on each subject, and taught ASL Signs that may be used in those situations.
