8 am - 10 am “Flipping the ASL Classroom” by Virginia (Ginny) Moorefield
Flipping is the concept of “teaching” as homework and “homework” done in the classroom.  Students learn core concepts on their own at home and come into class prepared to use what they have learned on their own, under a teacher’s guidance and expansion

10 am - 12 pm   “Technology use for Classroom” by Virginia (Ginny) Moorefield
Participants will watch a presentational overview of many different categories of Free Technology (apps, websites, tools) available to all teachers and see briefly how they can be applied to the ASL Classroom.  Participants will then choose which tools they would like to know more about and we will delve further into the set-up, use and function of the chosen tools. Participants will experience the use of these selected tools from both the student and teacher side

Lunch will be provided
