Foothills - "How Do I Voice That" (.6 CEU PS)

Workshop Description: This workshop is designed for interpreters and interpreting students to practice ASL-to-English Skills.  Participants will be given tools to assist in producing an equivalent spoken English message.  Through group discussion and hands-on exercises, participants will practice what they learn.  All of this will be done in a non-threatening environment.

Cost: Early Registration: $60.00 for all non-NCRID members (NCRID members 50% off - $30.00) Interpreter Training Students with a NCRID membership are free – all other students cost is the same as non-NCRID members. Registration after February 10 or at the door: $80.00 for all non-NCRID members (NCRID members 50% off - $40.00) Interpreter Training Students with a NCRID membership are free – all other students cost is the same as non-NCRID members.

Early Registration Deadline:  Due by February 10, 2016

You MUST mail in your registration.  NO emailed, called or faxed registrations will be accepted. (see Event Flyer below)

Refund and Cancellation Policy: All refund requests must be in writing, the requests should be faxed or emailed to Tanya Miller; fax: 828-430-7193or email: Tanya.Miller@dhhs.nc.gov .  A 10% administration fee and food costs will be assessed on ALL refunds.  No refunds, except for medical emergencies, will be issued past 2/10/2016. NCRID reserves the right to cancel within 30 days of the program, with a full refund to participants, due to low enrollment.
